While I have no probs with whichever system our list owner chooses to use I am getting a bit p--'d off with (like today) receiving 11 access denied e-mails, all of which take about 30odd seconds to load, and start halfway through a sentence, or even a word. I have now sat for 18mins 42secs

To unsubscribe please go to this web page http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale and scroll down. There is a button to get the password sent to your email address. Do this, wait for it to arrive (in a couple of minutes, probably only seconds) and open the email to find out your password.

Somebody please help; I've tried to unsubscribe all day, have received an e-mail confirming it, went to the website and got a message to the effec of no such user found, which would seem to indicate that the unsubscribe was a success; yet I keep getting these server-clogging e-mails.
