Did you run postinstall.pl as root meaning with sudo in front of
it. This should do it. Also every configuration file that you edit
needs to be edited as root meaning typing a sudo in front of the
name of your favourite Editor.

list -i scribus and instead of my installed scribus fink showed a
blank list. So it is with every installed file.

complained that I didn't had the August Developer Tools Update
installed after I switched to the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree and tried to
install a new app.

as mentioned in my last email yesterday I finaly was able to
compile and install Scribus but now I get an error message that
just says Bus Error nothing more. Looking in the Crashlog gave a
hint to look in the crash log file of Scribus and here is what it

just worked me through the unread fink beginners mails and
discovered that Scribus is avaible via fink. I tried to install it
but I am failing on the first step.
I type fink install scribus and I get:
[Maverics-Computer:~] erichoch% fink install scribus
sudo /sw/bin/fink install
will try to find the URL.
