With regards, to X code Tools 1.5. Should I install X code 1.2 first? I
gave it up some time ago, because I couldn't get the 'segments' stuff
to work (basically i just don't know what it is beyond segments of a CD
image.).

However the problem persists since:
open /sw/bin/pathsetup.command
will just open a new Terminal.app window and tell me that all is fine
(also when the command is issued in a X11 window).
Editing the .profile does not help, since for some reason

I can't run Fink binaries in Apples X11. Writing
