can you be more specific. to install i usually type fink install
abiword in the terminal or use fink commander, both of which then ask
to install dependencies.

When installing various bundle-gnome components I keep get alot of unable to register issues with docs and scrollkeeper. Is this something I should be worried about? Do something about? Don't see anything in the faq about this. Search of mailing list gives a bunch of messages will similar problems

Think key is how .xinitric is written. Copied my version from somewhere

Being new to Linux in general why do some applications appear under
Fink and others not? For example Galeon is listed as web browser for
Gnome. Gnumeric, Abiword and other gnome applications are listed in
Fink but not Galeon, Balsa, and Evolution.
