Xmms' eSound output plugin doesn't seem to work under Leopard.
Esd is running, and the eSound output plugin is selected. But I just get
that infamous dialog when I try to play a song: Please check that: Your
soundcard is configured properly. You have the correct output plugin
selected. No
Nevermind. After rebooting the machine, Xmms and eSound work properly.

The new 1.2a5 release does fix the problem. One thing I would like
to see though is for Ben to go ahead and update X11 to the x.org 7.3
code base. Specifically, it would be really nice if he could leverage
the Dtrace support added for OpenSolaris to work with Leopard's Dtrace
