Hi,
Would it be possible to replace the current system-xfree package by two
packages : system-xfree421 and system-xfree430 to allow people who built
to the latest apple X11 from source to install stuffs that requires
XFree86 4.3 ?

Ok guys, I'm definetively unable to startup postgresql on my iBook, and
I really need it because I want to begin a new project. Now, my old
databases stored in /sw/var/postgresql are only unimportant trials, so
I don't mind to loose them. The important thing is to have postgresql

Are you using webmin-postgresql already? If not, I'd suggest it. It's
versatile.

pgplot.
First of all, the linker flags obviously need to be changed to contain
-Xlinker -framework -Xlinker Foundation -Xlinker -framework

Any idea where to find these?
They are in /usr/lib/libgcc.a. Usually when this bug comes up, people
have some libgcc.dylib in /usr/local/lib that shadows the libgcc.a.
