First, props to the fink team. Running Panther and (almost) everything
is perfect. The setup for the following question is a clean install of
Panther with X11.app 1.0. I then did the source bootstrap for fink 0.6.

I tried to install gnuplot on Panther with fink 0.6.1 using the command

Mine too, for the moment. But xpdf does not refresh the file
automatically, which is a *really* nice feature of xdvi. And it
requires an extra step if you are using eps graphics.

MySql can use 64bit code/registers with greatly increased efficiency,

Stupid me.
Works now.
OK, I didn't find this FAQ. I tried the SDK from the website but this
didn't want to install on the panther disk.
Thanks, you rescued my day. ;-)

It may be that one of the new fink rsync mirrors was not working properly
when you tried to update. (I believe that DNS now randomly chooses one
of the mirrors to do your updating.)
So I suggest that you try the update again. You should not need to modify
your fink.conf file.

I just installed Panther, and the latest fink. And the X11 from apple
shipped with Panther.
Now, if I try to install something (like tetex or ghostscript or gnupg)

in the choice.

Annoying as all get out if you need xdvi (and I do sometimes, also).

Hi.
I´ve installed Gerda´s TeX distro and Fink´s system-tetex. I want to
install bundle-kde-ssl which depends on Ghostscript.
Fink for 10.2 had a system-ghostscript8 package which is missing in the
10.3 tree. Any hints?
TIA.

The ATLAS build is interactive and can't be done using FinkCommander
