I used fink-commander to download some package. Now I am not very unix
orientated but want to make use of some open-source apps. So after I
done that how do installed or launch the apps or do I have to make it.

developer tools, ran software update, re-installed fink 0.6.1, and did

new gtk-doc from the unstable tree temporary. Please run selfupdate
