doesn't compile. from the log reported further down I noticed
previously that there was a problem wityh quicktime. I installed the
quicktime sdk from the developper tools and the problem changed but

I also had the problem that gimp-2.0 had with Tiger
and the lib, whose name I can't remember right now,
that was too new (version 5.0.0 when gimp2 wanted
4.3.0 or earlier). I haven't seen anything more about it.
I got around it by installing gimp-1.2 instead.
