I have successfully installed openoffice.org-2.0.1+m156-4 and all the locale packages (no real use, but for French and German, all the others just to see). It took ~28 hours on my 1.8Ghz G5 and Unknown tilde escape. I did some testing, very little, just the time to see that I have been unable to

The last thing I can think to try is to run quartz-wm --only-proxy explcitly before you run startkde. startkde is supposed to do that automatically, but maybe it's confused. Or if you _are_ doing that explicitly, try turning it off. Therein lies the rub. I am trying to do this *without*
