I found a xterm.old in /usr/X11/bin and replaced the xterm with the old xterm. I now can start an xterm and do not get the foregoround and backgound errors I recieved. I am able to get the colors I want from my .Xresouces file and everything is fine. On Nov 19, 2007, at 2:39 PM, Richard E. M
