I would bet that this is an upshot of the new treatment of echo -n in
leopard preventing the script from answering
Has anyone successfully built flac under PPC? There was a thread on
this a few weeks ago (I chimed in with my own output messages, so I
won't repeat them here), but there never seemed to be any resolution
or response from the Fink Gods (you know, like Alexander :-) )

When I try running the 'ulimit -n unlimited' command myself, it also
fails. I'm not sure
