and a gnome-terminal, very slowly, and that's about it.
Can anyone tell me if I should abandon this dream and wait for bundle-
gnome to enter stable, or if there is hope and possibly a url which
helps explain how to make this work on a 2005 machine running 10.4.2?
Thanks!

Two questions:
1)
I get the following when trying to install gnome:
xfree86-shlibs conflicts with system-xfree86
system-xfree86 (version 4.2-6) is installed.
So, is it not possible to install gnome with XFree86 installed manually?
2)
What I really want to do is set up an elegant system
be contributing to your logout issue.

this setup and update now? [Y/n]
I don't want to use this setup any more. Is there a way to go back
once you've chosen cvs?
Thanks.
