There is still no binary installer for Snow Leopard.
Overall this gives the impression that little or nothing is happening with
Fink.
Is it possible some new status news could be posted?

Just doing a fink selfupdate fink update-all on:
fink --version
Package manager version: 0.29.13
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Mon Oct 4 15:14:59 2010, 10.6, x86_64
and building libgegl fails. What follows is the part with the errors.
