Can't build on i64 (Centrino duo) Linux fedora 20, gcc (GCC) 4.8.3 20140911

Ran ./configure - no problems.
Then ran make - process halted after ~6 minutes with error below
I have recently (just 2 days) compiled the latest 2.5 with no problems - both
SS and SC.
