Hi, we have a database running on Linux, FB 2.5.5 classic. Connecting to the database the SWEEPER is starting, but the connection terminating immediately. firebird.log: server Sun May 15 22:38:09 2016 Sweep is started by SWEEPER Database "/u1/firebird/db.gdb3s" OIT 1385251, OAT 1440517, OST 1440517, Next 1440518 (no sweeper or connection error reported in log) client side: Error reading data from the connection Connection will be closed immediately. After changing the sweep interval: /opt/firebird/bin/gfix -h 1000000 /u1/firebird/db.gdb3s the database works as expected. If we backup with gbak without -g option (running garbage while backuping) gbak fails: ... gbak: writing domain RDB$1691 gbak: ERROR:Unable to complete network request to host "127.0.0.1". gbak: ERROR: Error reading data from the connection. gbak: ERROR:gds_$open_blob failed gbak:Exiting before completion due to errors with -g option works fine. After restore everything is ok again. This is the secound time, when this database produces this mistake. I can send you privately via ftp (1.5 GB gzipped) if needed. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM restrictions.
