I was just looking at an old ticket for Jaybird (JDBC-94) which is
actually caused by a bug / deficiency in Firebird (see CORE-2697). This
was fixed for Firebird 3.0 in 2009.
I was wondering if this fix can also be backported to Firebird 2.5?
