So there isnt any locking at all or only the locking of the filesystem where the file is located (like MS Access is doing when putting a file on a network share) I just want to give it a try and I know how risky this feature could be and Im just curious why this is not

Carlos,I used the following code to load the embedded firebird server. I works very well on Firebird-1.5.2.4731_embed_win32. However, when I try to load the Firebird-2.0.0.12710-0_embed_win32, It will not load at all. While version 2 of Firebird is still Beta, it is nearing final release
