Yes I did get Grabbson. He is having a blast here.or I hope so anyway. He is
babysitting our youngsters and out in the pasture with the geldings. I
didn't breed him when I got him. I just wanted to get to know him. He

Actually, Grabbson was trained to drive by someone Tim Hamlett hired. I
don't think he was driven extensively, but he did show at Blue Earth at
least one year. He looked pretty nice though the driver/trainer left a lot
to be desired

Grabbson to your farm you will contact Les and talk to him. He so wants a

Wouldn't Grabbson find a home faster if he was a gelding? He is still young
and a fine horse. Most do not want a stallion. Jean Gayle

Jean,
Unfortunately the stallion was not trained for anything but breeding. :-(.
This is why he has not sold as of yet. He is related to our mares, so we
have not been interested in him... or we would have worked a deal with Les
or actually even his prior

Hi List !
After reading some of the comments about Grabbson going to auction I called
my old friend from CA. Les Hoagland and asked him to write something to the
list which we had already talked about.
This is NOT a rescue Fjord. Far from
, but, I sure hope someone in the fjord world will provide Grabbson
with a place to live out his years.
I have given several older horses (mares) retirement homes in the past years.
The rewards are priceless.
Last week I found my 25 year old QH mare dead in the pasture. She simply
died

I know Grabbson. I met him years ago when his first owner, Bill Stephenson,
in Nebraska owned him and he is Tank's father. I saw him go to Tim and then
to Les. I know all these people and they have loved this horse. Les has
written me about
, needing a new
home. If I recall, he is quite old?
I have no money to purchase him, nor do I have the experience to handle a
stallion, but, I sure hope someone in the fjord world will provide Grabbson
with a place to live out his years.
Thanks Linda. Grabbson is 23 years young

Is it possible that the Norwegians might be interested in frozen semen from

Many breeds deposit semen samples in a gene bank from their foundation

in the past? Maybe this came up before, but not to my recollection.
