The Group would discuss all things related to developing Flash-based

ask them to improve it.
A solution would be to use Google Groups search engine. You can either
set up a usenet news group and initialing it with the archives and
have google index it or you can use the Google Groups group
There's also ARP (Ariaware RIA Platform) which also works with Flash.
It's also free and open source (see
http://ariaware.com/products/arp/). The download includes a sample
application that includes the .fla files.
Remove the click=... from your .mxml file and have your .as file to
setup the listener for the click event on the button.
In my way of thinking, the .mxml file describes the layout of the
application and the .as file describes the behaviour of the
application. Only the .as file knows about the
