[flexcoders] Flex on MAC

I have installed MAMP and according to the MAMP site, the install works. However, when I want to get the flex php examples to work on my localhost, it says localhost not found. makes the thing a bit of a pain unless I abandon PHP. Seems like the wrong solution. I am extremeley experienced in

I am running Flex 4.5 on a mac and I am about ready to release, but the auto update aint working... It is the final thing before release. I keep getting the error There was an error checking for updates. Error# 16831 Online there are various implementations I feel like I have been through them
