I have recently issued 2 updates to my SDRDataTransfer.exe utility.
v1.5.0 -- Added a check to see if PowerSDR is running. If it is,
SDRDataTransfer issues a warning message telling you to close PowerSDR
then exits.
V1.5.1 -- Fixed a bug in the preview report. Under certain circumstances,
Hello guys,
I just love the new scope and Panascope feature!!! The display looks
just like a monitor scope My question is, how can I turn the scope
vertical gain down without effecting the receivers gain??? The vertical
gain is so much it goes off the screen or in Panascope mode it
Is there a way to reverse polarity, or even such a concept, when using the VAC
to provide audio to the Flex 5000? I have Skype connected to the radio through
VAC and on AM I see my negative peaks are much higher than my positive peaks.
If I saw this condition using the normal mike input to the
not sure but I do now that VAC allows you to select which 'virtual cable' is
Input and which is Output.
In my case
Input is Virtual Cable 1
Output is Virtual Cable 2
maybe reverse them? ?

After bumbling through my XP-Pro books I can not find (again) how to fix a
program, from boot start up, and place it in one location on the screen
without having to move it there every time... I have multi-monitors but I
recall it worked for even single screens.
I am now really Happy with my FLEX-5000A. The PowerSDR and the FlexRadio
Firewire software play's a big step in this recent updates. And I connected
my Begali Paddle and I don't have the keying delay problem any more. I
don't need to make a DB9 connector for the Paddle. This is SUPPER.

I am preparing to install the v34 RFIO board. I have already installed
the RX2. I already have all the Aug/Sep 1.14 software/firmware installed
and working.
In the HRFIO-34 installation guide (Pg 11, item 3), it states
Double left click on the HRFIO-34 EEPROM Updater application
Tom,
That is an update and I think that you still need to run it, even with
the new firmware, it won't hurt.

Normally it should remember it's last closed monitor and position on that
monitor.
Also try holding down the Shift Key when hitting the Red X.
It does work hereit always opens in the place it was closed.
Now it didn't ALWAYS work that way.
If you had PWSDR set to work on the secondary

Thanks, Ray. I appreciate the idiot-proofing Hi
Dudley is correct. It is still required because it is an EEPROM update
(modification) and not a firmware update. They are very different in their
function.

It is probably the video driver that is controlling the multiple monitors
causing the problem. Try upgrading the video driver to the latest version.

Flex'ers, I need some help. I installed the new FireWire driver, Firmware
and PowerSDR
And I really like the improvements and all modes work, BUT PSK is
intermittent on TX.
I have tried every possible combination of sampling and buffer size (using
VAC) and no JOY :-(
It worked with v1.12.1, but
Val,
Setup the Firewire driver like this:
Sampling rate: 96K
Operation mode: safemode 1
Buffers:1024
PowerSDR Audio Setup
Sampling rate: 96K
Buffers: 1024
PowerSDR VAC Setup
Sampling rate: 48K
Buffers 1024
This works fine here with VAC 4.09
Don't worry about the larger buffer. This driver
Guys
I gave a demonstration of my Flex 5000 at a microwave club meeting today.
The radio was remote at my QTH and I demonstrated it on my laptop via VNC. Some
were interested but are waiting for at least 2 meter capability so they can use
it with their microwave transverters.

It's one of the reasons I bought one, too.
Sure hope they still plan on making at least a 2M module available!

For better or worse, I was also planning to buy the transverter when
it came out.
