get the correct modular mic plug. Since the Flex 5000 uses the Yaesu 8 pin
round plug wiring, does the Flex 3000 use the Yaesu modular plug wiring? I
haven't been able to find this information on the Flex website.
Sig,
That a Yaesu modular mic connector.. Same as the the FT-857 , etc.

There IS a way to get two VAC outputs, one for RX1 and one for RX2. However
they are Direct I/Q outputs, not demods. I described this briefly in an
earlier posting. I have only tested with Skimmer.
It is possible to run a Skimmer on RX1 using Flex Audio as the Skimmer
input, and RX2 VAC as input
It is also documented in the KC too.

Thanks Rhett,
I saw Scott's note, and I verified that the link still works.. I take

Tim,
I set all buffer sizes to 2048, vac s/r to the default 48000, fa66 is at 96

All is now working nicely with no glitches. Thanks. :)

It is the same plug, but the connector orientation is reversed.
A lot of people get this wrong. If you have made tens of thousands of network
cables in your lifetime, you have a fairly good idea where pin 1 is since not
all network wiring is EIA/TIA 568B. :-)
Based on the FT-987 manual, what

will it be integrated into a new PowerSDR? More interestingly, what toolchain

The Service Manual for the FT897 Page 81 shows the same connections as the
