Hi there -

Setup here is:

Tim,
What's the difference between 18.1 and 19.1, SVN 3165?
I managed to load 19.1 and it works very well, CAT TX command and Tuner on my
3000 working where tuners were not working on 19.1.PB
I even like the little pop up window that tells you what the final VSWR match
was, now if you can

I ordered my Flex 3000 on 1 May and received it this past week, of course your

Actually SVN 3165 is 1.18.1 on the PSDR window title bar.

Occasionally my CPU usage goes very high. I see searchprotocolho as the

Check where the binary is executing from. If its c:\windows or
c:\windows\system32 it could be a virus. Otherwise its part of the
indexing process that supposedly speeds up searches. I have turned
indexing off as it is a performance pig (as you have witnessed). I can

Occasionally? 'Bout every 10 minutes? Could it be that the 17th (and
truncated) character is a 'g'? Other than verbose DXers, the biggest HOG I
know of is/are microsoft services.

I'm on a mountain working the contest and I brought along my 5000a for
the 144 station.
I'm using test branch (I know, a mistake) svn 3065 and can't get back to
earlier branch.
What I am experiencing is intermittent gain. I need to run fast agc.
What happens is the gain doesn't come back all
There was a warning I saw on one website that said that if the
location of the binary was at c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 it was
a virus masquerading as a windows binary.

Windows indexing is the FIRST thing I disable on a new system, right after
installing any required video/motherboard drivers.

Frank,
Be sure that you load Microsoft Hot Fix kb885222 for XP, SP2 or KB955408 for
SP3. This is a MUST with the 800 mbit card in the IMac..
