KB955408 is installed.
I do have a working communication connection between the Mac mini and
the F-5kA as the driver successfully loads and I can see the F-5kA
being shown correctly as a bus device in the driver control panel. So
there *is* a working connection between those two.
In the control panel does the radio show up as a sound card? What
operating system are you using?

A couple of other things, when you installed the driver, you should
have gotten the New Found HW three times there on XP (Vista doesn't do
that) , then check the Sounds and Audio Device in the Control panel,
then the Audio tab, make sure that you see the Flex 5000 driver in the

to 4800 it started to work except the SQUELCH was up and squelching the
receiver, I then went to 9600 sample rate and every NOW was working then I
went back to 19200 sample rate and it now works BUT when I shut down

I just noticed today on all versions of SDR that on 30 meters (the only
band I've noticed it so far) , there is a distinct low level whine
between the frequencies of 10.109.769 and 10.102.139. Tuning through
those freq's the whine will start and stop, however it remains when SDR
is stopped,
I don't hear any low level whine on my F5K at those frequencies.

last weekend? If so ,the 5000 needs an external preamp connected to the RX1
