All hardware not in use is dissabled, indexing dissabled, power saving
in high performance.
wireless and ethernet dissabled.
Firewire included in the laptop dissabled.
Using an express card firewire card

This is probably your issue. With ACPI motherboards along with the ACPI
Windows HAL, you can't really change the IRQ assignments. Some BIOS allow a

The only laptop that I've had flawless performance from is the Macintosh
MacBook Pro running bootcamp and XP. Follow the article carefully in the
Flex KB to configure.
