Hi Joe,
Chances are when the system crashed the user settings file was corrupted.
See the following link (2nd heading) for how to delete it so it can be
recreated.

As far as the reason for the crash, I too suspect RF got into the system
(radio/PC).
WHY WHY WHY does the ARRL continue to ask people who are software defined radio
virgins to review SDR's? They don't ask newly licensed hams with no experience
to review something like an IC-7800 do they? In fact they don't ask newbie's
to review anything except SDR's It is ridiculous!

RigSync 1.01 is available for download at
http://www.ehr.net/w2rf
This is a release candidate. Known bugs have been fixed, but the main change
is that the new version is non-expiring. The previous beta will expire on
12/1/2009.
Let me know of any problems or suggestions.
Enjoy!

Hey, a fascinating discussion! As the owner of one of the first

The review problem is greater than just a novice ham reviewing newer
technology. The person who reviewed the IC-7600 did not understand what
roofing filters are supposed to do. We have also gotten to read completely
unsupportable statements over the years, such as comparing radio B to radio A

With all due respect this is precisely what you DONT want. The reviewer can
reveal his expertise so an average ham can judge his skill set vs the expert
reviewer. That should in no way therefore detract from the veracity of the
review. Otherwise the reviewer should disclose he is a

I need a way to QSY VFO-B very quickly when split. I'm using CwSkimmer to

My solution is to put the FIXED freq station on VFO-B (use AB) and then
chase with VFO A.
Works good in bull sessions where the stations are too many hertz off freq.

Ed,
Turn on MultiRX place mouse over VFO B. Hold right mouse button down
you can drag the VFO B frequency with the mouse. If you do not want to
listen to VFO B frequency, you can always turn the VFO B audio down with
the slider.
