I used USPS ( from Calif.) priority mail with insurance. Using the original
shipping box from Flex, it cost me about $55.00, which included $1600 in
insurance. I mailed it on a Tuesday and it got there on Friday. However I see
that Flex sent it back UPS ground so they must trust it.
Mark...
I would also recommend against UPS...their packaging is OK (if you
supervise it closely) but their handling is terrible. I had a
well-packed Elecraft K2 run through by one of their fork-lift operators,
and also (in a separate incident) a well-packed heirloom picture and
frame
Mark,
I use FedEx for my work and have had zero issues. You can go FedEx ground
you know...

What's the current story on VAC? It's a while since I last looked.
Is the muzychenko VAC (with a YL interrupting regularly until you pay

About 4 years ago, Tentec had always used UPS for all their shipping. They
changed to Fedex because it was a little cheaper. After 6 months, they
found the breakage rate for Fedex was much higher than UPS and not worth the
shipping savings. So they changed back to UPS. I think this is very

Well yes I suppose well all have stories of horror.

I wouldn't be at all surprised. Following the attacks of 911, the

I ordered the 1500 a couple months ago. At the time, they told me it

I emailed Flex to check on the shipment status. First of all, it took

Randy,
Look very carefully at the bottom of the web page where you read the estimated
