[Flexradio] SDR-1000 X2 External Control connector question

2011-01-12 Thread Doug Allen
There are seven open collector control pins that can be configured with the External Control Tab to go logic high on either transmit or receive depending onhow youm configure them. I am seeing + 0.6V whenhigh. Is that correct? Doug K4LY ___ FlexRadio

I think they are talking about TTL logic levels - read up on TTL transition levels on google. IIRC, HIGH is maybe 3-4V. Jerry W4UK At 02:38 PM 1/12/2011, Doug Allen wrote: There are seven open collector control pins that can be configured with the External Control Tab to go logic high on

Doug, As you noted, the X2 outputs are open-collector. Logic High turns the transistor on, which will result in a collector-to-ground voltage of a few tenths of a volt. Logic Low turns the transistor off, resulting in the collector voltage rising to whatever the pull-up voltage is in the device

I am suddenly getting an error when I start fldigi, although fldigi seems to still work after the message noted below (although I could only find CW this morning). Here is a re-write of the event log, since the image of the log was rejected by the moderator I: testCommPorts: Found Serial

Tim, I am not home with that computer, but it is the version that Steve Nance sent me on 1/2/2011-the file properties of the setup file say that it was modified in 10/30/2009 . The pdf file that is included in the zip file says VSP Manager by K5FR- Version 1.0.1.006. Gary On 1/12/2011

Hi Gary fldigi did not find the cat comm pair you are using. Double-check that it is indeed defined as well as being used by PSDR. Could there be another program running that owns Com6-16? 73 Neal Campbell Abroham Neal Software www.abrohamnealsoftware.com (540) 645 5394 On Wed, Jan 12,

Neal, I am going to double check tonight by re-booting the computer and then just starting SDR and fldigi to see if the error goes away. If it does, then there is some residual service left running when HRD is closed. HRD does in fact use that port when it is running, but it is not on at

I went home and rebooted my computer. Then I tried to open SDR, and it would not open. I tried and tried to open it, and it simply would not do so. I then ran the SDR setup again and did a repair of the SDR installation. Once that was done, everything worked fine- both SDR and fldigi.
