There is a known issue with PowerSDR 2.0.x related to the ANT display on the
front of the console being out of sync and/or incorrect. Please refer to the
settings in the Antenna Menu form for a more accurate description of the ANT
configuration state.

Whom ever is writing the code needs to remove the hard code for the

This is a real pain. THe C: drive should only be used for Operating System

If you crash you only lose the OS and not the world.
It should allow installation anywhere on

What do you think of this one, Neal?

Hi Bill
I would have to test it to have 100% confidence but I would be confident enough
to buy it and see. I usually am allergic to the high end boards because the
throw so much stuff on them it. Some have asked why I use mid-level boards in
my computers and its because I want them as simple
I built a PC a few months ago using one of those, a 6-core processor,
and 8GB of memory.
It appears to run fine, but occasionally will 'hiccup' when it boots,
going into the Self Repair cycle, with No Solution Found, and then
on reboot, it runs fine.
The built-in 1394 port is NOT on the Flex
I haven't been spending much time with my 1500 of late. Tonight while
grilling a couple steaks out on the patio I decided to hang a 15M
dipole. At about 23:30 UTC (6:30PM Central) I got in to the shack,
hooked the dipole up to the 1500 by way of an Elecraft T1 tuner and just
for grins tried
Worked European Russia last night on 40M CW with a 6BTV and my 1500, 5W out.
I can't wait to get the DB-18 up! Already in the LOTW account.
You're right, QRP rules! (Galesville, AL?)

Be sure to use DX and adjust the microphone gain so that you are peaking
just under 0 dB on ALC. That will boost your average power just about 1 S
unit without going over 5W peak. That makes a huge difference on QRP.

I just heard DS5USH on 17m CW and decided to give him a call just for grins,
there was no way he'd hear me all the way from TX. Guess what? He did! We
had a 5 minute QSO and he seemed to be copying everything I sent and gave me
a 539 report. Hopefully this portends many more good contacts on
