[Flexradio] JT65-HF

2011-04-13 Thread Gary Warner
I am using a Flex 3000 radio with PSDR 2.0.22. I am also trying to use JT65-HF version 1.07. I can answer a CQ by double-clicking on the green message, but at the end of the transmission, the MOX button in PSDR stays lit, and I cannot get it to go off, except by closing PSDR.I am using

We need more info. What operating system and virtual com port software are you using? I'd remove any ancillary layers of software by eliminating the HRD component and just use JT65-HF with PowerSDR. HRD keeps coming up repeatedly and has such for a very long time as a key commonality with

Hello Graham, Looking on the specs of my Isotemp 134-10 oscillator showed that spurious attenuation should be 60 dB. Looking at the 10 MHz signal on the 1500 showed a lot of spurii about 60 dB down. In my scrapbox I found a 10 MHz 8-pole quarzfilter. Putting this filter in line with the 10 MHz

Tim, I am using Windows 7 and VSP Manager, version 1.0.1.017.I was trying to use the same COM port as PSDR has listed for the PTT port, and I guess one of these days I will remember to use the opposite number in the pair. I can now make the PTT work, but even with or without

Gary I struggled with this also, and eventually just removed everything from the chain except JT65-HF: 1. I set the PSDR COM port to PTT and selected on COM3 2. I set JT65HF to control the rig on COM13 3. I set VSPMgr to pair COM3 with COM13 4. I turned off HRD, disabled all other COM inputs

If you make the upgrade to the latest version (2.0.22) you will enjoy the sweet fruit of better CW assuming you have a FLEX-xx00 SDR (the CW changes are not applicable to the SDR-1000) Also feedback and echo are usually indicative of RF in the Firewire cable or the mic cable. -Tim --- W4TME

IIRC, the recent CW changes were made to the firmware inside the FLEX radios. The SDR-1000 has no firmware inside (which is actually a benefit when you want to switch around among the various editions of PowerSDR). Jerry W4UK At 10:23 PM 4/13/2011, you wrote: As the owner of an SDR-1000
