PowerSDR is multi-threaded and how those threads get allocated per core is up to Windows. Win7 does a better job of resource allocation than previous versions. I have 4 and 6 core AMDs and both run PowerSDR and other apps at the same time without any problems. I recommend 4 or more cores.
