I think the same i tested withaut de delta 44 is the same, the balance
modulator has gone bad.
The balanced modulator is in the same pcb where there the imput and autput?
the stereo plugs babling, I need found one spare PCB.

The V/U fan comes on only when transmitting on 2m or 70cm.
Thanks to headphones and diminished hearing in my old age it doesn't bother
me at all.
I have also asked folks if they hear it in my signal when I'm using my Heil
proset or PR781 and no one has.

What I did to get it to work was go to
c:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems and
delete the entire folder FkexRadio Systems, then uninstalled it again via
windows 7 uninstall.

I still use the Flex 5K. It's such an excellent radio, how can you ignore
it? But I agree with you
But it isn't really necessary to keep the radio nearby, is it? Mine
is only a couple feet away, but I could put it in the next room or
inside an acoustic enclosure if it made too much noise.

I just put my new I-5, 6 gig ram WINDOWS 7 64 BIT ,on the desk
computer along with my new 1500. I installed power sdr 2.3.5 from disk.
Every thing went fine on the install,all screens came and went as the

I have the same set up, new 1500, and new I5, 6 Gig ram, windows 7, 64 bit,
just got both a few days ago.
One thing to try: with computer and 1500 both off;
unplug the USB cable from the 1500 to the computer;
turn on computer, boot it all the way up, waiting till computer is
completely
The fan is only on when transmitting. Others seem to be fine with the
fan noise.
