Neal, I do not think that device will work on a Flex 1500. I checked it out on the vendor's web site and that device is a one-speed device (USB 2.0 full speed {12MB} only), and the Flex 1500 is USB 1.1 device (data speed equiv. to USB 2.0 low-speed device). Les, check out L-COM and Black Box
