The SDR-1000 has a great AM receiver but it's AM transmit capabilties or not
quite as good (low power). I'd like to mate mine with an external AM
transmitter and use the SDR1000 receiver and transmit audio processing (noise
gate, filter, etc). Is it possible to extract processed transmit audio

When switching from transmit to receive in either AM or SAM I get short squeel
out of my speakers. It does not happen in SSB. It is not feedback into the
microphone. Bug or problem with my setup?

Does anyone have experience using a Helil MD2 with SDR-1000 ?
This mic is designed for the Elecraft K2. The mic connections are different so
I know I'll need to change that. Also, in the K2 this mic requires a 5.6K pull
up to +5v so I'm guessing it is a condenser mic?

I'm a little confused by the manual. Should I connect paddle to the 3.5mm jack
on back of SDR or to the PC serial port?
Thanks

Guy,
Here is my experience;
The image may be nulled to about -80dBc at a fixed frequency but it will
degrade either side of this (to about -70dBc at +/- 4KHz). You can certainly
hear the image if it is strong enough.
The present software only supports one set of quadrature balance and IQ gain
Hi all,
I'm evaluating my rig on the bench with a sig gen and have a few questions
regarding image rejection...
I am finding that the image rejection is not consistent from band to band. I
can optimize on each band with a different set of values. Is this normal? It
would be nice to be able to
Is the impulse generator used in the latest code? I don't see any updates on
the Forum.
