I had this problem. RX2 showed a level of -241db. After trying everything I
turned off the DC power supply -- not just the power switch, which didn't
help -- for about a minute. Then RX2 resumed working. This happened twice.
Hope it helps.

Up to now I had been successful with Vista x64. However after installing SP1
it no longer worked. The driver could see the hardware, but PowerSDR
couldn't connect to the driver. I reverted to the pre-SP1 restore point, and
it resumed working.

The last few merges of w2rf with test have gone smoothly. However VS 2003
has now again scrambled the resource files, which means the merge function
can't be used. I plan to do a manual merge when I have time available.
That is, unless Flex decides to incorporate my changes and improvements :)
Greetings Flexers,
The w2rf/rx2/bin/release branch has been updated to include all
changes through 1.12.1. Features still exclusively supported in the
w2rf branch are:
CW DSP improvements
Disable UI greyout
VAC output for RX2
Space Navigator support
Let me know of any questions or problems.
I've been following this thread about future SDR development with
deliberately muffled interest. However there is one observation I
can't seem to stifle:
It is easy to be enthusiastic about something that doesn't exist.

Lately my rig has expanded to multiple radios. In addition to my TxRx
radio, I use a second radio for a monitor, and a third radio for a
bandscope. The problem is to keep them all tuned to the same
frequency and mode.
To solve this problem I have written an experimental applet that

Lee,
In your first post on this topic you made several points. One was
that software keyers have problems, and the that K1EL Winkeyer is a
good solution. I haven't had experience with software keyers. I hear
some people get good results. Personally I also prefer and use a

You say Writelog is 25 years old? No way! You say it has more
problems than N1MM. Have you tested and compared the two?

As for CW and rtty, there are just limited port numbers available.
Please and thank you.

I use a virtual com port to connect PowerSDR with Writelog. This
saves having to use any real com ports.
The only hitch I had was that Writelog only has four serial port
options, and the default vCom setup used higher numbered ports. I
fixed that by changing the port number assignments in the
