Check the two audio cables on the back of the SDR-1000...on mine one of
the stereo plugs was pulled half way out and I was having the same kind
of image problem you're seeing.

Hunter, a friend of mine, W5QI, is a Flex-3000 newbie. He also was
concerned with the CW problems using v2.0.8. He solved the problem by
plugging an old MFJ CW keyer into his Flex. Says it will work fine until
Flex fixes the problem.
He's tickled pink over his 3000.

Just curious, will most of the SDR-1000 bugs be fixed when the full
version is released? Not that it's a big deal to me, I use 1.8.6 and all
works fine here.
BTW, had my first hardware failure in about 4 years with my SDR-1000.

Hi Bob, try reducing your preamp gain, all the way to OFF if necessary.
The BCI Rejection button will also reduce gain and help sometimes.
I'm running a SDR-1000 so your mileage may vary with a Flex 5000.

The panadapter is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL for spotting extremely weak LF

finest receiver I've ever owned for LF and VLF!

Hi John, I just downloaded SVN 807X and I'm seeing my noise floor
increase by at least 10 db when I activate the BCI Rejection. BCI
interference increases the same amount. I'm using the Delta 44 soundcard.
Maybe something I need to change in my settings?
