Although the panadapter shows a strong signal when I select TUN, there is no output power shown on the powersdr meter and the swr shows as 1.0 I connected a power meter between the 5000 and my antenna and also no power when transmitting. Rx seems fine. I started analyzing this a bit as for

I have the daily digest sent to me but I don't see a way to go into the reflector other than viewing the monthly digests and with those, I don't see any mechanism for posting a reply. Is there a link to go into the reflector, see all the messages, and reply to those of interest? Thanks

Wouldn't it be great if the panadapter had a feature that could be turned on or off that displayed an ID by a signal that indicated what kind of a signal is present. This would be especially useful for digital modes when one is using third party software to decode digital signals and trying to

I'm just starting to explore the use of the second receiver on my months old 5000a. I was expecting that as I keyed the mic that although receiver 1 would be muted, that receiver 2's audio would continue to be audible. That's not the case however. What am I doing wrong? Thanks very much Jim

[Flexradio] vhf/uhf digital modes and repeater operation

I'd like to know if the forthcoming vhf/uhf add-on for the 5000 will support repeater operation and if so, how will pl tones be implemented. Also, are there thoughts about using the new add-on with the digital modes such as D-star, APRS, etc. Thanks very much Jim KD7GND
