Yep, the Dayton audio is plagued with dropouts,
and sometimes I had to boost the gain up to
20 dB for the off-microphone voices.
If you have ever tried to use a receiver at
the Dayton Hamvention, you can understand why
it is a challenge to use a wireless connection

I'd rather have them get version 2 going.
That will split out the User Interface
and make lots of changes possible.

It will force a new definition of a receiver.
My Hallicrafters S-38 receiver will let me copy
several CW transmissions on different frequencies
at the same time, even without a computer. Is
it a multiple receiver?

vCOM is a virtual Com port, like your RS-232
port. You can use it to have PowerSDR communicate
with another application, like Ham Radio Deluxe,
without adding hardware Com ports and making
jumper cables to go between the Com ports; each
application wants its own, dedicated Com port.
