In the past couple of months there have been several DXpeditions that
seem to have put quite an emphasis on RTTY, even to the point that the

I am trying to integrate MixW, vcom, vac, and the 5000A. So far I can

Never had the problem here Bill. But I am using a parallel cable direct

Astron 35M power supply. The MFJ Mighty Lite was too lite, dropped down
over a volt on transmit. 35M drops no more than 0.2 volts and no fan
noise.
If you worked me over the weekend on 160 meters during the contest,
you worked a SDR-5000.
I spent about ten hours over the weekend giving the SDR-5000 a good

I do have to smile sometimes when I read hams who swear they don't want

Hi,
I've been trying to set up my SDR-1000 for PSK31 operation using MixW
2.18 and sometimes DigiPan. I am at v1.10.1 of PowerSDR. I had my first
QSO last night (MixW) and received a good report on my signal.
However, I've noticed the following: when I transmit an idle signal
into a dummy
Finally, Larry (Wo0Z) has also seen this behavior with MixW but has not
noticed any effect on his ability to make PSK31 contacts.
Well, I have not measured it as carefully as you have (and I haven't run
RTTY or PSK31 for several months now).
I do notice that PSK31 has more fluxuation than
It would be nice to have separate filter widths for each vfo.
Or does someone have a better way of doing this?
Having separate filters for each VFO in PowerSDR for the SDR-1000 is
an enhancement that I requested a while back.
I looked at the code, and it wouldn't be hard to implement -- But

what processing does PowerSDR do in these digital modes that is different

Intrinsically, it isn't.
It has to do with the way the panadapter works. DIGU will have the
panadapter display going up instead of down and you end up, of course,

All,
As I was [one] of the submitters of the manual notch filter, I have
given some thought on how it can be implemented. Open discussion. I
like to click on a signal to do something with it, and I am dedicated
to the mouse. However, that is not going to work, as clicking on a

I agree a manual notch filter would be useful and would be even better if
you could right click the offending signal when in panadapter display and
have a selection to apply notch filter. Also it should be available in
other
modes as well as CW.
Just some wishful thinking :-)

No disrespect, but how can you tell the difference between an FSK RTTY
signal and AFSK RTTY signal, other than examining or inquiring the method
used to generate the signals? As regards CW vs MCW ... MCW is (at the
receiving end) a signal with a carrier and a keyed audio component; one
does
I don't mean to belabor the point but I am curious what the
'integration'
problem is with AFSK and third party software (I use MixW for the most
part
... but I have tried any number of other programs).

The issue is who knows or (worse) think they know what about what.
On MixW,
Larry,
I'm not sure a fully understand your post. I have to use the XIT/RIT

I have no problem with clearing RIT on click tune but PLEASE !!! give me
another way to make PowerSDR compatible with the long accepted

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a reflector for the SDR1000
