I was wondering if it is possible to run PSDR on a tablet hooked up directly
via USB to a Flex-1500? It would be pretty cool to be able to to have a

Have been using CW Skimmer for a long time with no issues. In fact I was using
it last night and it was working fine. Powered up the DDUTIL, the rig, PSDR
(latest version), DXlab and Skimmer this morning Then I noticed that Skimmer
was displaying CW activity BELOW the band edge on 10M. Went to
I restarted the radio and all of the apps and everything is ok now.
You would think that I would take my own advice. I manage 350 PC's in a GM car
plant and when a user calls me with an issue I tell them to reboot. 90% of the
time that fixes the issue.
Still, that was weird!

This pure speculation on my part but I wonder if Flex has cheaper Signature
models in the pipeline for the future? First the 5000 came out, then the 3000
followed by the 1500. Note the progression; expensive, cheaper, then a lot
cheaper. I wonder if they will do the same with cheaper Signature
When I try to start WSJT it just comes up with a runtime error and shuts down.
Sometimes it just flashes, shuts down and does not display any errors. In the
past I would just reinstall it but that gets to be a pain if you have to do
this every few days.

If I am trying to work a split station on RTTY does the rig center my signal
where ever I clicktune? Lets say I click on 18.102 the 2nd VFO displays
18.100.494 and when I TX it looks like the strongest part of the signal is
centered on 18.101.0

Was trying to work 5T0SP on 15M and all of a sudden I would start getting these
noise humps every 50KHz after transmitting on RTTY. Look at 21.043 and 21.090

I have a 5000A that has a second receiver. Running VAC 4.12 and PSDR 2.3.5
A while back on the list I saw a way to use VAC with both receivers to talk to
digi programs or CW Skimmer.

I posted this last night after I started the thread; It does work if I put
the loop on Receiver 1 and pick RX1 IN but if I have an antenna on ANT1 I get
no signal at all when I pick ANT1 in Receiver 2 which is very weird.

What are the best settings for using Fldigi with PSDR?
I have Click Tuning DigiU set at 1500 and DigL at 2210. RTTY offset enabled for
VFO A with DigU at 2125.
Also have the Sweet Spot set for 1500 in the Misc settings in Fldigi.

I recently built an Elecraft KPA500 amp to use with my 5000A and have to say
that it was money well spent. There were many QSO’s that the amp helped me
compete that would not have been possible barefoot with my SteppIR BigIR
vertical. Yeah I know that I really should put up a yagi but for

A few weeks ago I put a bunch of memories in PSDR 2.2.3 for use with my 5000A
and after a few days they j ust vanished.
Well this week I again loaded a lot of memories into PSDR they stayed in there
until I powered up PSDR today and once again they vanished.

I am still having the issue with CW Skimmer not decoding correctly. Over the
weekend I removed, rebooted and reinstalled PSDR, DDUTIL, VAC and
Skimmer hoping that that would fix my problem and but all the settings and
memories for PSDR were already in there the first time I started it up.
Tried Skimmer without having DDUTIL runni ng but that made no difference.
Also tried 3khz radio. However if I click tune a CW signal in PSDR that same
signal is NOT in the Skimmer decode filter. Right now Skim mer is decoding W0W
an d PSDR is displaying 14.049.627 BUT they are actually on
So today I uninstalled VAC, rebooted and reinstalled it. Strangly I did not
have to put my settings back in op VAC.
Then I uninstalled PSDR and the Firewire driver and reinstalled those with a
fresh download from the Flex site. I also removed a lot of old Flex files and
directories.

It seems like Skimmer does not decode with the latest version of PSDR as with
the prior version. Of course it could also be Skimmer that is the problem or
something else. I know that before I put the latest version of PSDR on my PC
that Skimmer could decode fairly weak signals. Now though

I am considering getting the Elecraft KPA500 amp for use with my Flex-5000a but
need some suggestions on how to wire it to my antennas.

According to the release notes for 2.0.22 real time wide band image rejection

I have not used DXlab Winwarbler for a long time and I wanted to operate in the
ARRL RTTY contest today. Fired up WW and it causes huge audio dropouts every
few seconds in PSDR.
And the display looks weird in WW, RTTY signals are not very distinct. On the
other DXlabs other apps are working

RX2 window both displays are always for the same frequency. If RX1 is lets say
3.790 and I go the RX2 RX selector and pick 40m ,RX1 switches to 40m. And that

Was trying to operate on 10m today but when I hit the Tune button in PSDR
(1.18.5) it
gives me a high SWR of 3.
Yet my LP-100 says the SWR is 1.38. Straight into the dummy load PSDR also says
3.
Any ideas as to what is going on here??

Since we may get 600 meters someday in the future is there any
chance that Flex might make a transverter for that band? Or even a Lowfer
transverter?

Lately when I am using PSDR and I open most web pages the audio starts to
distort and then get real
raspy. Not all sites do this. And some like
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage
cause PSDR to stop completly In fact if I leave this site up PSDR will not stay
running for more
