After my first successful run with VoiceKeyer it has gone on the blink
with an error splash screen. An unconditional exception has occured in your
application. Boy is this getting tuff.
Any help would be much appreciated, have made many changes in buffer settings
with no joy at a loss now.

designed to provide absolutely the least useful information possible.
When you click on the error message window, which program closes, VoiceKeyer
or PowerSDR?

Hi All,
I'm thinking about getting a 2 meter transverter to hook up with my
Flex-3000. I've read reports of some models of transverters drifting too much
during transmit for use in EME. Any suggestions/recommendations about which
transverters are suitable for SDR EME work?

The FLEX-5000 Service Manual is only available for free to original purchasers
of the FLEX-5000. It can be purchased from the FlexRadio On Line Store. The
FLEX-3000 Service Manual has not been released yet.

You should be able to interface a TNC to the radio. I suspect that you can do
it virtually too, but the AWG software will have to change to support separate
sound card instances for TX and RX.
Pwr out always defaults back to 100 when changing bands. vs 1.16.2, 1.18.0, and
pretty betty. What do I have set incorrectly ?

I *think* JT65B in WSJT software is limited by the filter width, which is a
maximum of 600 Hz either side of the center frequency. I am looking at it
right now, and that's what it looks like to me. Maybe a question for the
WSJT yahoo group?

I can't answer your question, but you can control the power on each band
using DDUtil. Go into settings and check the bands you want to set the
power then go into Amps and set the power by band. Use the PTT button to

I see that DDUtil says it has the ability to change the bands on the ICOM
PW-1 amplifier as the 5000 changes bands. But is there a way to turn the

Ed,
There is no internal command the PW-1 understands to turn it on/off I'm
aware of. I think you would have to use another piece of software and relays
and or something made to switch power on/off. I know some of the guys
running remote stations are doing this, but I can't advise what.

I assume that you've already tried adjusting the AGC-T control, narrowing
the filter, using the other DSP options like the Noise Reduction (NR) and
the Noise Blankers (NB and NB2). The preamp should be in the Pre setting
(as opposed to Off or Attn) for weak signal work.
