Hi Terry
I used a Flex 5000 this weekend with SS with my Acom 1000 amp and I had no
issues driving it to full power. The Acom has a great RF meter that is
very accurate on voice peaks.
I appreciate that there has been some discussion about not enough audio

Sorry, but no. You need a 5000 with the second receiver to use the second
VAC.

It has. The challenge is there just isn't available real estate left

That was my thought too. I've already run memtest86 but part of the
problem is that the PC won't boot with all 3GB of memory in it. It even
freezes memtest86. When this started I had sporadic problems getting it
to boot with 3GB. Then I removed all but 1GB and it would boot fine. I
thought I

Can you explain the thinking behind that? At this point I'm willing to
try anything if I can find a suitable replacement battery around here
but I'm not sure I follow why that would cause the issues I'm having.

I'm not convinced that's the solution to your problem either but its a
simple to try and you can find those batteries in most photo shops even
the camera section at WalMart etc. You won't find them in the Duracell
displays.

It doesn't sound like a scenario where I would expect that to make a
difference. Normally, replacing a battery is needed when the motherboard
loses BIOS settings when its powered down (not plugged into the mains)
and it doesn't boot.
This type of problem sounds like hardware (the ram testing

The focus thing is a big problem all right. One thing I did was to turn

forget and get focus on PSDR instead of N1MM logger, at least it doesn't
switch bands, modes, etc like you said. It just doesn't do
