Hi,
how can I handoff keytrokes from fgfs to a external program? I need
this for muting the mic when not talking to real radio. Also not only
keystroke are needed. Perhaps someone has further hardware (joystick,
...) and wants to mute the mic with a button...
Is this imlemented? What must I do

Try virtualisation software such as vmware (vmplayer is a free download)
I found it a lot easier than mainatining multiple OS's if you are
limited with machines.

didn't yet figure out how to make a proper patch, so a diff with the
necessary changes (for the file coremag.cxx in simgear/magvar/) is
