Something I don't understand about the aircraft .xml files for JSBSim.
Have been able to edit/modify/add engine properties, tanks, etc for the
basic 747-100
Added the following to create some drag in the DRAG axis section (will
worry about lift later)
<COEFFICIENT NAME="CDsp" TYPE="VALUE">
Drag_due_to_spoilers
aero/qbar-psf|metrics/Sw-sqft|fcs/spoiler-pos-norm
0.031
</COEFFICIENT>
and the program hangs. startup screen msg shows "initializing subsytems".
any suggestions as where to look for the problem... other files that
need to be modified.
Looking at the other models, 737 in particular, can't seem to discern
why this should not work.
