That was something only remotely related -- code that ignores clear
instructions and has unpredictable consequences, while it doesn't
have a single advantage. Sounds bad, doesn't it?  :-}

I don't really know a lot about particles. But there can only
be one goal: if the XML version doesn't work, we'll[0] make it
work, not work around it.
