View definitions are supposed to follow these rules for positive values: x -> right y -> up z -> back/aft
but long ago (2003/02/06) a patch was committed, which swapped the meaning of x and y axis in "lookat" mode (that is: chase views and the aircraft following look from the tower). "lookfrom" remained correct. This change is now reverted and both "lookat" and "lookfrom" use the same coordinate system again.
