My friend and I were just emerging from the Holland tunnel as the first
plane flew over our heads. We saw the gaping hole and the fire and we saw
the second plane impact. We spent 11 hours trying to escape the city (which
we eventually did).

Just saw my old friend, Alice Hoglan on tv, interviewed by
KTVU. I used to work with her in the 80's. She lost her
son Mark on the Philadelphia flight, but he was able to call
her from the plane before it went down. I remember Mark as

to everyone in new york and the washington, dc area my prayers go out to you
