After this last email I downloaded the sources of fop 0.92.beta
Also downloaded ant 1.6.5 to perform the build.
When trying to buid the source files I got the following message:
C:\fop-0.92betaant
Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in C:\Program
Files\Java\jre1.5.
OK.
Solved this question by installing JDK1.5.0 and setting correctly the
environment variables JAVA_HOME and PATH.
The compilation was successful.
Added the files to my solution library but I am getting errors regarding
xerces (can't find all libraries).

to use the config attribute in the fop ant task (version

When I use my config
file from the command line (using fop.bat) it works fine, but when I use the ant
task it cannot find the metrics file, even if I use an absolute
path.

The font-base config attribute simply doesn't work in 0.92. The bug
is fixed in the SVN repository.
