Hi there,
I have recently delved into the technical joys and jargon of Linux, but I’m
still fairly new so you’ll have to excuse me if these questions are more system
than Fossil related.
1. I am currently only aware of installing software via package managers (in my
case APT). For some reason

Hi there,
Is there any chance an option can be added in Fossil whereby, when/where a
captcha is required, the task is to answer a question instead? I say this
because, as a totally blind screen reader user, captchas are generally
inaccessible to us.
Ordinarily, most sites have an audio captcha
Hey there,
I currently know of two Fossil hosting systems, Flint and Hydra.
1. I have seen Flint in action and so have an idea what it’s about. It
separates repositories into users and makes them either public or private. Is
Hydra any different, or is it just an alternative? Do either of them
no idea how
this would be done, hence the reason I am looking at existing systems.
Cheers.
Damien.

Hi,
I was introduced to Fossil about three years ago. It is the first VCS I have
actually used extensively for my own work and as such I haven't really had much
to compare it with.
However, now I'm in the realm of contributing code I am having to learn how to
make use of other systems as well.
Hi there,
A while ago, I wrote about the possibility of providing an accessible
alternative to an ASCII-art CAPTCHA system due to the fact that visually
impaired users can only read these, through screen reading technology, as a
series of dashes, dots and bars. Although the CAPTCHA system is no
Hi there,
Is it possible for Fossil to run scripts when performing operations like
creating new repositories, importing, exporting, committing etc?
I'm guessing there will be somewhere, since sometimes people want to have an
automated commit build, mail announcements and the likes, without
performance and optimisation

Hi there,
Asking a lot of questions lately. Sorry about this.
Not exactly sure how Git stores its data, but I know both local Git itself
likes you to add a name to its configuration, and also remote services such as
GitHub and GitLab also require an account to edit repositories. Are any of

Hi there,
Is there a way of removing or preventing the creation of the “initial empty
checkin”? I personally can’t see any practical uses for that, unless the
implementation somehow requires it.
Also, this checkin seems to be automatically sent to trunk. Is there any way of
renaming this
